Over 40 filmmakers, shoot in their countries to create a piece of work that is collective in nature and charitable in purpose.
The idea is to connect and build together. Ellen Kuras, who is a established prominent cinematographer with two Emmy Awards, and numerous Sundance accolades and Oscar nomination for her first feature documentary, had an idea to create a visual document about the COVID-19 pandemic in New York and discussed with her fellow cinematographers who are members of the ASC. The idea quickly grew to capturing footage and stories in other US cities, and then ultimately as this is a global pandemic, the idea grew even more to documenting the pandemic across the the world.
Pink Blossom

The characters of Pink Blossom are of different age group ranging from 25-65 year old women. They are struggling to come in terms with their sexuality, to claim their bodies and desires—in the search for a self, which is beyond the masculine dominated world. These women come from a particular social class-that is of the ultra rich society in Dhaka, Bangladesh. Their privilege of the gilded cage offers a vast array of choices, however, always with a final limit. If she flies free, she loses the golden chain, the privilege.
